Requirements

Must-haves

6+ years of software engineering experience

2+ years leading global remote teams of full-time employees and contractors, managing teams, both small and large

Experience with .NET

Experience with React

Experience with AWS Cloud Services

Experience with AI technologies, including Machine Learning tools, with a strong understanding of the importance of accurate translation and AI processing output

Proven experience collaborating across Product Development, QA, UX/UI, and Software Engineering teams

Proven ability to build teams, manage performance, set KPIs, and ensure accountability

Deep understanding of decision-making under pressure and maintaining a forward-looking vision

Demonstrated success in fostering innovation and integrating AI solutions to address business challenges

Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Nice-to-haves

Startup experience

Familiarity with OpenAI Whisper

Familiarity with Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet

Familiarity with Python or Angular

Proficiency in mobile app development

Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

What you will work on

Lead and manage a fully remote, global team of developers, including full-time employees, contractors, and outsourced resources

Role Focus Breakdown: Leadership: 35%; Hands-on with AWS and .NET: 30%; React: 10% and AI: 25%

Define and communicate technical vision while fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and excellence

Collaborate with product owners to align technical initiatives with customer needs, market demands, and business objectives

Drive design and architecture discussions, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of AI-powered solutions

Partner with external vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align on priorities, estimates, and deliverables

Establish high-performance benchmarks, maintain code quality, and implement best practices for engineering operations and product delivery

Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, promoting continuous learning and professional growth

Guide teams through complex technical challenges while maintaining a strategic perspective, being hands-on where needed

Ensure engineering efforts deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive product adoption
