JOB OVERVIEW

As the Junior Systems Analyst, you will support and administer the Connect 5G’s IT environment, covering applications, infrastructure, and end-user support. The role operates in close collaboration with the IT Lead, contributing to day-to-day operations and the evolution of the company’s technology environment. This is a primary corporate IT role. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to extend their contribution into security coverage for the Opus family environment as capacity allows.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support & Service Desk

• Manage incidents and service requests via Jira Service Management — from intake through resolution
• Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, and connectivity)
• Document solutions and maintain the internal knowledge base

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage users, groups, passwords, and MFA via Microsoft Entra ID
• Administer Exchange Online (mailboxes, distribution lists, mail flow rules)
• Support and administer Teams and SharePoint (permissions, sites, collaboration)
• Monitor and respond to alerts across the M365 environment

Device Management (Intune)

• Administer Windows, Android, and iOS devices via Microsoft Intune
• Execute device onboarding and offboarding processes
• Apply and monitor compliance and configuration policies
• Support Microsoft Defender as the endpoint protection solution

Azure

• Administer sessions and users in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Support VM lifecycle management and Azure resource administration
• Monitor performance and availability of cloud environments

Process & Documentation

• Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of IT processes
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, policies, and company procedures
• Support IT governance and compliance initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Required

• Some experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Exchange, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD) — formal administration experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with device management concepts — experience with Intune is preferred
• Familiarity with Azure (VMs; AVD experience is a strong plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English — role operates in a US environment on CST hours

Diferenciais

• Experience with Jira Service Management or Jira Cloud
• Knowledge of Conditional Access policies and MFA (Microsoft Authenticator)
• Understanding of endpoint security and identity best practices
• Familiarity with SharePoint administration and permissions management
• PowerShell scripting for automation
